Malgosia has been working as a Remedial Massage Therapist and owner of Oxenford Mind & Body for over 20 years. With her extensive experience and training in human anatomy, physiology and an avid interest in nutrition, Malgosia is able to very quickly pin point and alleviate areas of pain and dysfunction as well as address causative factors.

Malgosia utilises a combination of techniques including:

• Postural assessment
• Orthopaedic tests
• Deep Tissue Massage
• Trigger Point Therapy
• Myofascial Release
• Sports Massage
• Muscle energy techniques (MET)
• Proprioreceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF)

Malgosia also has many years experience in Pregnancy massage (pre and post natal) for relief of pain and dysfunction associated with the various stages ofe pregnancy as well as breast feeding and carrying.

Malgosia also offers Manual Lymphatic Drainage massage. Lymphatic drainage massage is great to have while doing a detox as well as to help reduce fluid retention. However, for longer term results it is recommended to seek the advice of a Nutritionist or Naturopath to investigate the underlying cause. 

Malgosia enhances her therapy with the use of high potency essential oils to aid in pain relief, relaxation and rejuvenation.

For those who just want to de-stress and take a bit of time out, Malgosia offers a unique approach to relaxation massage. A massage that both deeply soothes and penetrates through layers of stress and tension, whilst also invigorating the body.

Sri lankan born Marion’s first inspiration into the healing art of massage was inspired by her mother’s healing touch.

She has worked as a massage therapist & yoga teacher for over 30 years. Is a student of Zen equally as long. Her work has taken her to Hawaii, Greece, Melbourne, Byron Bay and now Brisbane.

She has a deep tissue intuitive style and combines breathwork with her massage as needed.

She is now a student of Ayurveda … dedicated to furthering her healing arts

 

 

 

 

Sophie – Advanced Remedial MassageTherapist (Adv.Dip. RM) – Sophie has now moved on and is unfortunately no longer with us.

Sophie holds an Advanced Diploma in Remedial Massage with exercise rehabilitation prescription. This means she is able to relieve your symptoms, figure out what could be causing the issue and prescribe exercises specific to your rehabilitation requirements.

Sophie uses a range of Remedial Techniques such as:

• Orthopaedic Special Testing and Assessment
• Myofascial Cupping
• Myofascial Release
• Muscle Energy Techniques
• Neuromuscular Release Therapy 

Sophie is also able to offer Pregnancy Massage, Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage.

Sophie loves helping improve her clients wellbeing and is always researching for new techniques to add to her toolbox and improve her skills.
